So easy and so good, these simple potatoes are all about flavor and texture! With oodles of crispy bits on the edges and soft fluffy potatoes inside, these amazing potatoes are the best of both worlds!
Preheat the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill on the air crisp setting to 390 and set it for 20 minutes.
Boil the potatoes in salted water until barely fork-tender then drain them and let cool slightly until safe to handle.
Place a piece of parchment paper under and on top of each potato and smash it with a flat plate until slightly flattened.
Transfer the smashed potatoes to the air fryer basket, drizzle with the oil and season them with salt and pepper. Insert the basket into the NWFG and start the timer.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until the desired level of crispiness.

Chef Jenn's Tips
These potatoes are a blank canvas. Top them with fresh herbs, drizzle them with sour cream or BBQ sauce, or top them with cheese and bacon. Get creative!
Don't overcook the potatoes when boiling - you want them to still have some texture so they hold together when smashing.
Potatoes need salt! Don't forget to season the boiling water.
