So easy and delish, these seasoned chicken breasts are wrapped with bacon and given a kiss of smoke on the Ninja that transforms them into a flavor packed dish!
Add pellets to the Ninja Woodfire Grill, and preheat your Ninja Woodfire Grill to medium-high heat on the smoke setting. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
Place the chicken breast in front of you and remove the bottom 1/3 of the chicken breast. You want to remove the pointy and thinner end of the breast for even cooking. Save the scraps for another meal.
Season the chicken breasts with garlic salt, onion powder, and paprika, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
Place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts on the grill. Close the lid and cook for about 10 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Monitor the bacon to ensure it doesn’t burn. If it starts to crisp too quickly, move the chicken to a cooler part of the grill.
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute, making your chicken even more succulent.
Notes
Chef Jenn's Tips:
Use thick-cut bacon for a heartier texture and better grilling results
Let the chicken sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before grilling to ensure even cooking
If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix
Always use a meat thermometer to check for doneness, as grilling times can vary
