I’ve taken an ordinary grilled cheese sandwich and elevated it for you using my favorite Ninja Woodfire Grill. I wanted something with bold flavors and a rich, meaty taste.

This Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese is easy to assemble, and it might become your go-to sandwich when you’re craving something comforting. It works great for using leftover pulled pork.

It’s also the star at any game day party. It can easily be turned into a crowd-pleasing recipe that doesn’t take long to make. The best part is that pulled pork can be made ahead of time, so you’re not stuck in the kitchen (or out on the patio) all day!

CHEF JENN’S TIPS

  • The Ninja Woodfire Grill takes a while to preheat. Once it’s hot, it grills hot and fast. Make sure you have everything prepped and ready to go.
  • Do not use Woodfire Smoke with this, as it is too strong for the sandwich.
  • This recipe serves 4-6 people depending on the size of the sourdough bread you use, but you can easily double or triple this recipe to serve a crowd.
  • Make sure to use the griddle plate for this recipe.

MAKE IT A MEAL

This Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese is a fun snack or a quick meal, but it can be turned into a feast by adding a few sides. This hearty sandwich goes well with potato salad and corn on the cob. If you want something on the lighter side, consider salads filled with fresh vegetables, Mexican corn salad, or grilled sides like grilled vegetables.

STORAGE

This Ultimate Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese is too delicious to have leftovers, but if you do, store leftover sandwiches in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat the sandwiches on the Ninja Woodfire Grill until heated through or reheat using an air fryer, toaster oven, or skillet.
