Have you ever found yourself craving something hearty, savory, and bursting with flavor but also quick and easy to make? That’s precisely where this Thai Pork & Green Beans recipe comes in. I love my Blackstone Griddle, and it makes cooking outdoors so easy. Think of it like a giant cast iron pan: whatever you can cook in the cast iron skillet, you can make on the griddle. I haven’t used my wok in years, either, thanks to my griddle!

This easy Thai Pork & Green Bean stir-fry is so easy on the griddle. I have a large 36-inch griddle and only use about ⅓ of the cooking surface for this, which leaves plenty of room to make fried rice, or dumplings, or any other tasty eats.

Serve it with a side of rice, and dinner is served!

What You’ll Love About Thai Pork & Green Beans:

  • Bursting with vibrant Thai flavors
  • Quick and easy to make, perfect for busy weeknights and is ready in less time than it takes to make rice!
  • It’s super easy to make on your outdoor griddle but you can make it inside in a wok or skillet.

Ingredients

For the sauce:

  • Fish sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • Brown sugar

For the stir fry:

  • Ground pork
  • Green beans
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Canola oil
  • Eggs
  • Cilantro – Chopped, optional garnish.
  • Onions – Sliced, optional garnish.

How To Make The Tastiest Blackstone Griddle Thai Pork & Green Beans

  1. Preheat your Blackstone Griddle to medium-high.
  2. Combine the fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of canola oil to the griddle top. Once the oil is shimmering, add the ground pork. Use a spatula to break up the meat and spread it out into an even layer. Let it cook undisturbed for a few minutes to develop a nice sear.
  4. Add the sliced onion to the pork and stir it in, then add the green beans to the griddle, stirring them into the pork mixture. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the green beans are tender but still crisp.
  5. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the pork and green beans. Stir everything together until the sauce evenly coats the ingredients. Let it cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together.
  7. Add the remaining oil to a spot on the griddle and heat it. Crack the eggs onto the griddle and cook until sunny-side up.
  8. Garnish with the eggs, fresh cilantro or sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot with a side of rice and enjoy!

Step-By-Step Process

Chef Jenn’s Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the griddle. Cook in batches if necessary, to ensure that everything gets a beautiful sear and cooks evenly.
  • Adjust the level of heat according to your preference. If you like things spicy, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or finely chopped Thai chilies.
  • Feel free to customize it with your favorite veggies! Bell peppers, snap peas, or even thinly sliced carrots would all be delicious additions.
